The morning of our first planting began with our mare, Stella, giving birth to a very special filly named Royal Veritas. She was born just as the sun rose above the mountain ridge. It was certainly a day that two dreams came together; the birth of a fabulous filly and the planting of a beautiful winery. As the day came to an end gentle showers watered our 1100 Chambourcin grapes and left us with a beautiful rainbow.
As Royal
Veritas grows and matures, so do our Chambourcin vines. 2010 will
be our first harvest. The wines from that

harvest will be released in 2011 and will appropriately bear the
name Royal Veritas. If they are anything like their namesake
they should be Bold, Sassy, and make everyone take note!
